Delete Your Account

A Deeply Focus account is optional. You can use the entire app — the focus timer, Focus Shield app blocking, statistics, and the planner — without ever signing in. An account is only created if you choose to sign in with Google to use the community leaderboard or Focus Rooms.

If you have signed in, you can permanently delete your account and all of its associated data at any time. This action is irreversible.

The quickest way to delete your account is directly in the app:

• Open Deeply Focus and make sure you are signed in.
• Go to the Settings tab.
• Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
• Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following:

• Your account — the Google Sign-In authentication record itself.
• Your profile — email, chosen nickname, and avatar.
• Your reserved nickname — released back into the pool.
• Leaderboard entries — your nickname, avatar, and focus totals are removed from all leaderboard periods.
• Focus Rooms membership — you are removed from any room you have joined.

• On-device focus history — your sessions, tags, and settings live only on your device and are not part of your account. They remain on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
• Subscription — deleting your account does not cancel a Deeply Focus Pro subscription. Manage or cancel it in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.

If you can no longer open the app, email us and we will delete your account and data for you:

• Email support@deeplyfocus.app from the email address associated with your account.
• Include the subject line “Delete My Account”.

We verify the request against your account email, then delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

When you delete your account in the app, your data is removed from our active systems immediately. Any residual copies that may remain in routine, encrypted backups are purged within 30 days. We do not retain deleted account data beyond this period, except where required by law.
